Skills for Life
Free Literacy, Numeracy and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)*
We can offer:
- Taster courses to encourage staff to pursue an interest in improving their language, literacy or numeracy skills
- Short course on specific needs such as writing skilsl for care plans, or language skills for communicating appropriately with service users etc.,
- Longer courses leading towards a Skills for Life certificate at one of Entry Levels 1, 2 or 3 or at Level 1 or 2
* Depending on various criteria, there could be a charge for some learners
Eligibility
Learners must:
- Have a contract of employment (can include volunteers) OR be registered as self employed
- Be aged 19 or over
- Have the right to work in the UK
