Train to Gain
When funding becomes available again we will be able to offer the following free NVQ qualifications to those who meet the eligibility criteria.
- Health & Social Care (Levels, 2 and 3)
- Child Care & Learning Development (CCLD) (Levels 2, 3 and 4)
We offer a choice of work-based training providers.
Eligibility
Eligibility for Train to Gain funding depends on the employee's previous level of achievement. Employees need to be undertaking their first Level 2 qualification or 'jumping' straight to Level 3 from level 1 or below.
Learners must also:
- Have a contract of employment (can include volunteers) OR be registered as self employed
- Be aged 19 or over
- Be an EU/UK resident, or have been a resident in the EU/UK for a minimum of the past 3 years, or have been a EU/UK resident for 1 year and be married to a 3 year resident
